What is FADGI?

The Federal Agencies Digitization Guidelines Initiative is a collaborative effort by U.S. federal agencies to define common guidelines, methods and practices for digitization of historical content.  The overall goal is to enhance the exchange of research results and development, encourage collaborative digitization practices and provide the public with a product of uniform strategy. In addition to digital imaging and encoding, guidelines have also been established for metadata that is embedded within the digital files. WHEW!

So what does that mean to your organization?  The Digital Archive Group equipment, methods, workflow and metadata standards all meet or exceed FADGI guidelines.  Very few situations call for this level of performance, but if you need it, we can deliver!

All you really need to know is that we have the best equipment, operators and workflow in the industry and we stand behind our work.
